WATCH IN HD!

The first time I watched this show I was like 13 or 14. It looks like a long time ago! I remember that it was the first show ever that I watched on my computer and in English. I didn't understand the language as much as now, so I remember watching every episode with my older sister (who was the one that said that I should watch the show) and every time I didn't understand something (which was every 5 minutes) I stopped it and she translated it. Now I realize what a pain in the ass that must have been for her, but I'm really greatful for it because by the end of the first season I understood almost everything they said. So basically I learned English (at least most of it) from Joan of Arcadia. That and much more reasons make this show very special to me. Now, I am not a religious person, in fact I'm not even baptized, but for me this show is not just about religion, it's much more than that. It's about philosophy, life, the universe, even science. I really enjoyed it that first time. And now, 9 years later, I decided that my goal for the summer would be watch it all over again! Even after so long, I hadn't forgotten the major parts, even I remembered some quotes that my sister and I used to repeat over and over again. And I'm enjoying it like that first day. So I decided to make a video about it. I was going to make a Joan/Adam, because I love that ship, but then my inspiration made me do this. Even though Joan finds God very annoying and they always bicker, in the end she does was he/she/it asks her to do. That's what I love about their relationship, it's not "divine idol puts a task on young lady and she does as he pleases without hesitating". Joan questions him, and argues with him, and even treats him like an equal.
I focused more on season 1, because for me it was better than season 2. The end of S1 was absolutely heartbreaking, and that line of Joan in the first episode of season 2 ("You hurt me.") was so sad. After everything she did for him/her/it, she was left all alone, questioning everything. I know he/she/it was testing her faith and all, but still, NOT COOL GOD.
So, if you've never seen this show, WATCH IT NOW! You won't regret it.
BTW, this song is PERFECT for these two.
Oh, and my favourite encarnations of God was Old-Lady-God and Little-Girl-God. And Hot-Guy-God was cool too.
